Delivery & returns
We ship across Malaysia only. Everything below is what we charge and what we can honestly promise — the delivery windows are ranges because per-state public holidays make a single date undeliverable.
Delivery
| Where | Service | Cost | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peninsular Malaysia | Standard delivery · J&T Express | RM8.00 | 2 – 4 working days |
| Peninsular Malaysia | Express delivery · Pos Laju | RM18.00 | 1 – 2 working days |
| Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan | Standard delivery · Ninja Van | RM18.00 | 4 – 7 working days |
- Free delivery
- Orders over RM150.00 deliver free within Peninsular Malaysia, and orders over RM300.00 deliver free to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. The thresholds differ because East Malaysia genuinely costs us more to reach; setting one bar for both would mean either overcharging the Peninsula or selling at a loss to Borneo.
- Dispatch
- Orders placed before 2pm MYT on a working day are usually packed the same day. Later than that, the next one.
- Working days
- Monday to Friday, excluding federal public holidays. Note that in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu the weekend falls on Friday and Saturday, so a courier collection there can be a day later than you would expect.
- Tracking
- A tracking number is emailed when the parcel is collected, not when the order is placed — a number that does not yet scan is worse than no number.
- Samples
- Every order includes 2 samples, and 3 over RM250.00. You cannot choose them. We pick what suits what you have bought.
Why perfume cannot go by air
Our alcohol-free attars and oils, and our candles and diffusers, are not flammable liquids in the same sense — but we ship every order by one method, so a basket containing a single spray moves at the speed of the spray. Ordering the oils separately is faster if you are in a hurry.
Addresses we can and cannot serve
- Residential and office addresses anywhere in Malaysia, including condominium guardhouses and management offices.
- We do not deliver to PO Boxes. Our couriers require a signature or a photograph at the door, and neither is possible at a box.
- Parcel lockers are not currently supported. If that changes we will say so here rather than quietly start.
- We do not ship outside Malaysia. Not "not yet" — the export paperwork for alcohol-based perfumery is genuinely involved, and we would rather do it properly than badly.
- Nobody home
- Couriers here usually attempt twice, then hold the parcel at a branch or drop-off point and message you. Contact them directly using the tracking number — they can redirect far faster than we can.
- Wrong address
- Write to hello@adiwangi.com the moment you notice. Before dispatch we can simply change it. After dispatch we cannot, and a parcel returned to us is refunded minus the delivery we actually paid.
- Unclaimed parcels
- A parcel unclaimed at a branch comes back to us after about two weeks. We refund the goods but not the outbound delivery, because that journey was made.
Returns
- Our policy
- Write to us within 30 days of delivery and we will accept a return of anything unopened and in its original packaging, seals intact.
- Opened fragrance
- We cannot take back a bottle once the seal is broken. This is a hygiene rule, not a technicality — a returned perfume cannot be resold to anyone else, and we will not pretend otherwise by restocking it.
- Discovery sets
- These exist precisely so you can try before committing, so they are non-returnable once opened. The credit against a full bottle is the point of them.
- Return postage
- You pay it for a change of mind. We pay it — and refund what you paid to receive it — when something arrived faulty, damaged or not as described.
- Refunds
- Issued to the original payment method once the parcel reaches us. Cards usually clear in three to five working days. FPX and e-wallet refunds route back through the bank or wallet and often take longer, sometimes up to fourteen days; that delay is at their end and we cannot speed it up.
- From East Malaysia
- Returns from Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan take longer in both directions. Tell us it is coming and we will not chase you about it.
If something is wrong with it
Under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, goods sold in Malaysia must be of acceptable quality, fit for their purpose and match the description given. Those guarantees are yours by law. Nothing on this page limits them, and no policy of ours could.
Tell us what happened — a photograph usually settles it in one message. We will repair, replace or refund. If we cannot agree, the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM) hears consumer claims up to RM50,000 and does not require a lawyer. Write to hello@adiwangi.com first; we would much rather fix it than be summoned about it.
