Terms of sale
These are the terms on which we sell. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it rather than point at a clause.

When the contract is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The contract is made when we send you a dispatch confirmation — not when you press the button and not when the order confirmation lands. Until then, either of us can walk away.
This matters in one practical case: if something sells out between your order and our packing bench, we will tell you and refund you in full rather than substitute something else or make you wait indefinitely.
Prices
- Currency
- All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
- Tax
- Prices include SST where applicable. Sales and Service Tax is levied upstream and is already inside the price you see. No tax is added at checkout and no tax line appears on your receipt.
- Delivery
- Shown separately at checkout before you pay, and included in the total you confirm. It is never added afterwards.
- Changes
- We change prices from time to time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it, regardless of what happens afterwards.
Payment
- Online banking (FPX) — Pay directly from your bank account. Most Malaysian banks are supported.
- E-wallet — Touch ’n Go, GrabPay, Boost or ShopeePay.
- Card — Visa or Mastercard, debit or credit.
Payment is taken in full when the order is placed. We never see or store a full card number; card details go directly to the payment provider.
Delivery
We deliver within Malaysia only. Rates, delivery windows and the reason perfume cannot travel by air are all set out on the delivery and returns page, and those rates form part of these terms.
Delivery windows are estimates given in working days. They are ranges rather than dates because per-state public holidays and the Friday–Saturday weekend in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu make a single promised date undeliverable. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Cancelling and returning
Before dispatch, write to us and we will cancel and refund in full. After dispatch, the returns policy applies — including the hygiene exclusion on opened fragrance, which is the real limit on it.
Your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, goods sold in Malaysia must be of acceptable quality, fit for the purpose they are sold for, and match the description given. Those guarantees are given by law, not by us.
If we cannot agree
Write to hello@adiwangi.com first. Most things are a misunderstanding and one message settles them.
If that fails, the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) hears consumer claims up to RM50,000. It is designed to be used without a lawyer, and using it does not require our agreement.
- Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
- Courts
- The courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
- Records
- We keep transaction records for at least two years, as the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012 require, and longer where tax law requires it.
Reviews you write
By submitting a review you confirm the words are yours and give us permission to publish them alongside the display name you chose. We read reviews before they appear. We publish critical ones — a rating page with no criticism on it is not a rating page — and remove only what is abusive, off-topic, or not about the product.
Ask us and we will take your review down. We do not need a reason.
This site
The text, photography and design of this site belong to Adiwangi Retail Sdn. Bhd.. We describe our perfumes as accurately as we can, but scent is subjective and screens differ — a colour or a note list is a description, not a guarantee of how something will smell on you. That is exactly why discovery sets exist.
Last reviewed . We update this page when what we do changes, not on a schedule.
